the breakfast buffet was exellent. The staff was very helpful. The lobby and courtyard were tasteful and elegant.
The rooms should have more period appointments. Too Motel 8 utilitarian.

It had very central location close to Museum of Contemporary Art. The hotel was placed 0.5 miles away from the airport. The breakfast was tasty and marvellous with very soothing music, freshly cooked eggs and omelette, and had all you need.

A good courtyard escape
Waking up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee was bliss. The charming courtyard was perfect.
Unfortunately, our room had limited window views. The noise from other guests moving around was also a tad disruptive during the night.

It was very well located in a quiet aerea very close to the main square of Cusco. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
It seemed to me that the carpet in the hotel was completaly dirty. It didn't look like dirty, but as soon as I got into the room, I started being ill. My nose started bleeding and I had my throat stuck. I tried to change to a room with no carpet but there were only two at the hotel and they were full. I had to buy alergy pills in order to sleep.

Ordinary hotel, which should be ranked as 3 stars.
They charged me in the local currency, however the rate of exchange they used was a very low 2.5 Soles instead of the official 2.90.

Perfect location near centre of town attractions, yet quiet. Beautiful colonial building to which a more modern facility has been added. I stayed in the "Colonial" section which offered high ceiling, nicely appointed rooms and satellite TV.Friendly, responsive staff. Excellent breakfast included with my rate. One day a local harpist played soft Andean music while we ate. The hotel seemed rather empty perhaps due to being the rainy season or perhaps due to the early departure of guests wanting to catch the sunrise at Machu-Picchu. This hotel is devoid of the most common difficulties found by reviewers of Cusco hotels: lack of hot water, cold and noisy rooms or weak coffee!
The exhaust fan in the windowless bathroom did not work and could not be fixed due to lack of parts or a replacement unit (but I got this explanation within 1 hour of alerting the front desk of the situation)

Great location and tasty breakfast
I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Queen Room and found the location perfect, just a short walk to the central square. The breakfast had a decent variety and some lovely hot options. The staff were fantastic, especially when my daughter wasn't feeling well. The room was a bit chilly at night, and heating could be improved.

Our flight was canceled so we need to look for a hotel, this hotel was the first choice because of the price in Booked.net, aswe already passed by it, we thought it was a good one, so we decided to give it a chance. Our first hotel taypikala was not good at all! Costa del sol, was thousand way better!! The room and bathroom were clean, new and comfortable. For only 20 dollars more than taypikala you stay in a much better hotel! The breakfast is excellent, there are many options and the restaraunt is really good, the waiters are very friendly and the place is pleasant! A very good thing also, is that they can charge the fees in your credit card in dollars because other places charge you in soles with an absurd exchange rate!
No, we really like this hotel and recommend it!

Location is convenient, near attractions. Staff are attentive. Breakfast was decent but lacked variety. Enjoyed the happy hour with live music. Room was small and noisy from outside traffic, made it hard to sleep.

Excellent hotel with its excellent restaurant, 24-hour reception, and free wi-fi. The staff even helped with currency tips during my first stay, which I appreciated. Highly recommend it for a hassle-free experience!

The setting is unbeatable and particularly good, very close to shops, restaurants and famous sites, a hill and 2 short blocks walking distance. The rooms are brand-new and spotless, with a storage, a safe box and a carpet.
